Pioneer Games
(Very appropriate for “winter” old time fun!)
Choose three from the following:
1 LOG SAWING: You got it!! Test your strength, as team members have to
saw their way through a stack of logs. (props provided)
2 TAFFY PULL: (sugarbush season only) A Maple Syrup experience. See
how to pull maple syrup. Whoever manages to pull the largest
amount…wins.
3 ARCHERY: Test your skills with a Bow and Arrow!
4 SNOWSHOE RACES: Strap on the snowshoes and maneuver yourself and
team mebers through an obstacle course inspired by our “Log Farm”.
5 MILKING RACE: The name says it all…you have to m-o-o-o-ve quickly if
your team is to gather the most milk.
6 DRUNKEN PIONEER: Without a drop, those Pioneers still drop.
Frontier Games
(Games that incorporate the “old time wild west”)
Choose three from the following:
1 BUFFALO HUNT: Two teams at a time, will have designated targest that
they have to attempt to hit with bow and arrows….while riding our
“prop” horses! The team with the most hits on their mark wins!
2 CATTLE DRIVE: “Move ‘em on out!!” The team that manages to move
their cattle (team members!!) through the gates first will be
victorious.
3 SHOWDOWN AT THE OK CORRAL: A re-enactment game based upon the actual
shootout that took place at the OK Corral! Two teams battle against
each other using props and a sense of humour.
4 CALF ROPING: Test your skill riding our horses (props!) and trying
to lasso yourself one of our “not so frisky” calves.
5 MILKING RACE: The name says it all….you have to mo-o-o-o-ve quickly
if your team is to gather the most milk.
6 DRUNKEN COWBOY: Without a drop, those Cowboys still drop!
7 ON THE COUNT OF TEN…DRAW IT PARDNER: Pictionary the Lone Star Way.
8. COWPOKE CHARADES: This is how John Wayne started his career.

territory to claim a settlement for themselves.
